Chicago, IL

 Pretzel bread is so yummy!
Hotel Sax in downtown Chicago, IL.

Hotel is right on Riverfront. Two circular structures have parking a the bottom and condos above the parking. Traffic is bad in Chicago, so people try to live where they work - in downtown, hence condos abound and prices skyrocket.
Famous Chicago icon, looks nice when lighted up at night.

In-a-hurry Peanut Sauce

Bought some peanut chicken skewers from a warehouse store, cooked them, and found them to be quite tasteless.  I had to make a peanut sauce in a hurry to salvage the food.  Following is simple recipe I put together, that can also serve as a salad dressing, gado-gado salad sauce, satay sauce, noodle sauce, etc.

2 rounded tablespoons peanut butter
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic chilli sauce

Put in bowl and microwave 1 min.  Stir till smooth.
Adjust to taste.

Tomato Seafood Scrambled Eggs

Eggs are very versatile and you can add practically anything you want to it - vegetables, meat, seafood, mushrooms, etc.  You can steam it, bake it, fry it....the variations are endless.  This dish is usually made as Tomato Scrambled Eggs, or Seafood Scrambled Eggs, but I combined both here.

I package artificial crab meat.
6 eggs
3 tablespoons water
dash sesame oil
salt and white pepper
3 tomatoes, sliced
dash sugar
chopped green onions or cilantro

Beat eggs with waer, sesame oil and salt to season.
Heat some oil  in pan, fry tomatoes for few minutes with a little water and dash of sugar, covered.
Heat oil, stir fry crab meat 1-2 minutes in non-stick pan, add dash of white pepper and green onions or cilantro.
Add beaten eggs and fry till cooked.
Add cooked tomatoes and mix together and serve with rice.
